Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are ready to assist clients in reaching their employment goals. If you are currently in receipt of social assistance (Ontario Works), please contact your worker for a referral.

Ready to Work Project

Ready to Work is a wage subsidy reimbursement program designed to assist young people find full-time meaningful employment, and assist businesses find potential valuable employees. This is a free service to both clients and employers. Participants must be referred by their Case Manager.

Pre-Employment Development Program

The Pre Employment Development Program (PED) offers a chance to build or upgrade the skills you have. Gateway Cafe is currently offering, PED - Customer Service, PED - Age Advantage 45+ and the standard Pre Employment Development Program. If you are currently in receipt of social assistance (Ontario Works), please contact your worker for a referral.
