Our mandate is to assist participants’ in finding full time meaningful employment.
We also offer businesses assistance in finding potential employees.
We can help you:
- Save Money – We offer no cost advertising for your job vacancy at Gateway Café and our network of partner agencies across the GTA.
- Save Time – We’ll take the hassle out of your recruitment process by pre-screening and referring only appropriate applicants.
- Get Support – Our experienced Job Developer will provide your organization with ‘on-the-job support’ working with your new employee to ensure productivity.
- Ensure Confidentiality - We guarantee a completely confidential process. Your company name will not be revealed and if desired, your representative(s) may interview and test applicants at our premises.
As well, Gateway Café offers wage subsidy programs to potential employers. These are wage subsidy reimbursement programs designed to assist participants of Gateway’s services gain work experience and make a successful transition into the labour market. An initial assessment is required of the company for the establishment of eligibility and upon request we will provide you with the guidelines.
As our services are all free of charge, for both the client and the employer, you can be assured we will represent both to the best of our ability. We will do our utmost to allow you an efficient and stress-free hiring process.
